Nightshade

Nightshade (Nightshade, #1)by Andrea Cremer

The cover is pretty. Many people really like this but I simply found myself disconnected and aloof the entire time reading the story. It’s inventive at moments — the history and the societal structure of the “werewolves” clan are quite refreshing, and I can definitely see it being enjoyed by teens or even pre-teens. It’s just not a ground shifting kind of experience for me.

  1. I might take a look just because there are so many requests for werewolf books, but I’m tired of them, too.
